Stampin’ Up! Best Catch Masculine Card

I have a nice masculine card to share with you using one of the sets that carried over into the new catalog. Check out the Best Catch stamp set and Catch of the Day Dies!

I am so happy the Best Catch stamp set has carried over into the new catalog! I always need good masculine card ideas so this one is a great fit for anyone who loves fishing. I also used the Catch of the Day Dies to cut out the images in this card. All the coloring was completed using various blends markers (see all the colors used in the supply list below). There are a couple of retired items on this card, but any embossing folder and paper that looks like bubbles could work!

I hope this card gives you some inspiration and thanks for stopping by my page!

Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 catalog sneak peek #3 – Bloom & Grow!

I am back to share yet another sneak peek with you from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 catalog! The catalog will go live in just 5 DAYS!!! Here is a lovely thank you card made with the new Bloom & Grow stamp set and Budding Blooms dies!

Aren’t the vibrantly colored in stamps pretty? That is one of the things that made me want this set. It is PERFECT for using those blends for coloring! Of course, you could also use our watercolor pencils or blender pens and whatever you choose! I colored in the stamps with the following blends: Light Poppy Parade, Light Granny Apple Green, Light Daffodil Delight and Light and Dark Highland Heather. The sentiment is also from this same stamp set and it has some other wonderful sentiments and many other flower stamp sets too. I used a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Think Whisper White card stock as my base. There is a skinny layer of Smokey Slate and then the Gorgeous Grape layer was embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder. That pretty ribbon is one that will carry over into the new catalog and of course so will the pearls.

I am getting so excited for the new catalog, are you?? I am ready to send you one if you need it. Just send me a personal message with your address. You can click on contact me at the top of my page to do so!

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon with more creativity for you!

Happy Birthday to me!

What better day to post a birthday card to share than your own birthday?

Today is my 48th birthday and I am so happy I still get to celebrate. I am enjoying a day at my craft desk crafting and creating. I always make sure I take my birthday off from my day job so I can do something I love. Do you also take your birthday off?

The card I am sharing today shows off the spotlight technique. This simply means I am highlighting an image or paper. This lovely paper is a favorite from the Occasions catalog, and it will soon be leaving us! This is the All My Love DSP and you can still get it until June 3rd! To make this card I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 inch card base in Basic Gray. I then cut a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of the All My Love DSP. I used my Layering Circle Framelits to cut out a piece of the DSP near the bottom left of the card. I also cut out a slightly larger circle in Lovely Lipstick card stock. I colored the flowers in the circle I cut out with my Light Real Red and Light Flirty Flamingo Blends. This is what makes it more of a spotlight! I added some All My Love Ribbon and added the circle on the card, with dimensionals, so that it matches up to the design on the paper. I added a Happy Birthday sentiment, from the Amazing Life stamp set, and Metallic Pearls to finish it off.

Be sure you are checking out all the lovely items that will soon be no longer available by shopping the Last Chance Items on my site. Just click the banner below to start shopping!

I will be sharing another sneak peek from the NEW catalog this weekend so be sure to come back soon!
