I will admit, making tags is not something I seem to have great skill in completing. It is funny really because how hard can it be to make a tag, right? But for some reason I just stare at my paper wondering what in the world I will come up with… except this time! For some reason I had an idea pop into my head the minute I saw the July Tags Challenge theme at Catherine & Cathy Create! I just grabbed a piece of scrap paper nearby and went with it. That is probably how I need to think about it from now on. You can’t force creativity! With that said, here is my creation:
A simple tag ready to be attached to a yummy treat or small gift.
Now I am off to see what else I can create….well after I get done with my workday anyway. 🙂

I just remembered I made a card at the end of last week for Freshly Made Sketches and forgot to submit it! I have just enough time to get it posted for sketch #145! I got to use a new stamp set I think I am going to love – A Happy Hooray. Check it out:
Aren’t those feathers fun!? To make them I simply trimmed the edges with the awesome fringe scissor available from Stampin’ Up. What a difference the fringe look makes! If you don’t have a pair you should really get some because these scissors are very versatile. You can make borders, grass, and poofy flowers with tissue paper!
Hope everyone has a happy Monday!!

I decided to try one more of the challenges at Catherine & Cathy Create as their card challenge this month is This Beautiful Earth. I wanted to find a way to mix my Work of Art stamp set with something from nature so I decided to try the Petite Petals stamp set and came up with this:
This card was super fast and easy to make! I truly love these colors together. So rich and luxurious.
