I am back with one more sneak peek from the holiday catalog coming out September 1! It is another Halloween card and it was fun to create.
Did you know a skeleton can also be a witch? Me either, but when I put this hat on the skull decided why not?! That skull and hat are part of the new set called Howl-O-Ween Treat and it comes with lots of other goodies too. I will post a picture of the entire stamp set at the end of the blog. It even comes with a matching die set! Now, how about that adorable spider web doily? I have seen so many cute things made with this doily! If you turn it over it is white so you could use it more like a snowflake accent. I have also seen other emboss it in gold and other pretty colors to turn it into whatever color you need. The pretty paper you see is part of the new Happy Haunting DSP. It has matching washi tape too! The sentiment is from a current stamp set called And Many More.
Here is the Howl-O-Ween Treat stamp set;
I hope you enjoyed another sneak peek. I may have even more to share so keep checking back to see what I come up with!

I am a day later than I wanted to be getting this blog posted, but better late than never!
I have another fun sneak peek from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday catalog and this one shows how truly versatile some of the holiday stamp sets can be!
Can you tell the stamps used on this card were originally meant to be for Christmas? Nope, me either! It is always fun to know that you can by a set and use it lots of different ways. The trees and the antlers are both part of this new stamp set. Here is a picture of the whole set:
When I saw the trees I really wanted to get this set to see what I could do with it. Ironically, the first thing that came to mind was not a holiday card. I am not fond of hunting at all, but I have friends and family who are. I remembered I needed a birthday card for one of them and this card was born! I think it looks like it has a manly touch, right? I am not sure how often I will use the antlers, but I have seen others add them to animals to make alternate versions of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and it was adorable. To cut out the sentiment I used the new Lots of Labels Framelits and then cut it down to fit the stamp just perfect. The frame around the trees was also made with the Lots of Labels Framelits. The background paper is from the Bohemian DSP and the sentiment is from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set.
I hope you enjoyed another sneek peak, more to come again soon!
Now onto the weekly deals!
There are good through August 24th!
Have a great week!

Hi there crafty friends,
I am back again with a really pretty card to share with you. We have new Ornament thinlits coming in the holiday catalog and they make the paper you use so beautiful and delicate.
There are so many awesome new goodies on this card, I don’t know where to start! Okay, first of all I absolutely love using non-traditional colors for holiday cards. So when I saw this gorgeous new paper stamping up is offering that is all gold, black and white, I was sold! This paper is called Winter Wonderland Speciality DSP. Now it is hard to see, but if you look closely at the gold ornament you will see it has a vellum overlay. The vellum paper is NEW and it coordinates with the new DSP. It has beautiful designs in the vellum in gold and black. It is called Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum. I haven’t even mentioned the beautiful thinlits themselves!! They are just so pretty to me! The cool thing is you get the really detailed ornaments but you also get a open thinlit of the same shape so you can easily cut backgrounds for the detailed cut out. Other amazing new goodies on this card include some pretty new Winter Wonderland Washi Tape, the Gold Cording Trim I used to make the bows and the super sweet NEW embossing folder which is called Sofly Falling. You could do so many fun things with this new embossing folder! The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Wonderland and I will have another card that shows off some of the goodies in that set sometime soon.
I hope you enjoyed yet another sneak peek. I will keep trying to make more because I can’t stop playing with all this new stuff!!
Go be crafty today if you can!!

I have another sneak peek for you today!! Of course it is another Halloween card, because those are my favorite!!
There are so many fun goodies in this card to share! First, how about that gorgeous Happy Halloween Stamp!? It is so big! I can see this being used in some of my decorating too. In fact there is a fun way it is used for decorating in the new catalog. 🙂 I stamped the big sentiment in black, but then did it again in Pumpkin Pie and just cut out the words to give it a pop. The background is a combination of one of the stamps from this set stamped on Very Vanilla and the the adorable new Happy Haunting Washi tape! The bats and spider web are also part of this new stamp set. Do you see the pretty black glittery paper? That is new too! It is Black Glimmer Paper!!I used some crystal effects on top of the 31 to give it a shine. I also used a new punch coming in the catalog that makes two new types of corner rounded edges and also a little Ribbon slide. I finished off the card with Rhinestones colored in black! I did this with my blendabilities markers, but it works with a plain old Sharpie too!
Next, here is the inside of the card:
These stamps are from another new stamp set called Happy Scenes. I did color the pumpkins and leaves in with my blendabilities again, but any marker would do!
Here are some pics of the products used:
Curvy Corner Trio Punch
I can’t forget to share the Weekly Deals with you as new ones started today!

You read that right!! It is time for me to start showing you some sneak peeks because the new Stampin Up Holiday Catalog is coming your way soon! I can’t show anything from inside the catalog yet, but here is the beautiful cover:
Those of you who know me realize that most of my sneak peeks will be all about Halloween at first. That is because it is my favorite holiday! Don’t worry though, I will try to share some other holiday goodies as well. Items from this catalog can be ordered as of September 1. So let me show you a few things so you can starting making a small wish list for when the catalog is available!
Here is my first sneak peek card:
SO SPOOKY, RIGHT? Oh I love this set. The new set I used is called Happy Hauntings and it includes the cute witches bottles you see here. It also includes some adorable tags that match the note tag punch. I will post a picture of the set at the end of the blog so you can see all of it.
To make this card I stamped the hardwood stamp in Tip Top Taupe onto Crumb Cake paper measured to 5 1/4 X 4 inches. Then I stamped the hardwood stamp again on another piece of Crumb Cake and cut 1/2 inch stripes of the stamped image to make my shelves. I adhered the shelves at an angle to give the cupboard a worn out look. I stamped the bottles in memento black and I colored them a little different than normal. I actually did try to use the blender pens and the aqua painter, but neither looked right to me. Instead, I pressed the ink pad into the top of the container so a small amount of ink was on it. Then I added just two drops of water into that ink and I used a VERY fine tipped paint brush to brush in the color on each bottles. This allowed me to have good precision with my coloring and it almost looks like I used a marker. I then fussy cut each bottle. I used Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie to color in the bottles. You might notice the bottle colored with Pumpkin Pie has a open area in it. When I stamped it I did so on Very Vanilla Paper so the open area looked vanilla. I wanted it to appear to mesh with the back ground so I fussy cut the little area in the handle of the bottle with the stamped hardwood paper. I think it turned out great! The sentiment used is also part of this stamp set so it coordinates perfectly. To make the card even more spooky, I sponged the edges with Tip Taupe Top and distressed and ripped the edges with my scissors.
There are a few other stamps sets used on this card. You see the cute little bones? Those are from a new stamp set called Howl-o-ween Treat. I will be sharing projects from that set sometime soon. There were two more new sets used to get all my spiders you see on the card. I will share more about those another day with another project.
Here is what the whole stamp set looks like:
I sure hope you enjoyed this sneak peek!! Please check back soon as I will try to keep sharing goodies from the catalog so you can see all the new stuff that is coming!
I am entering this card in the challenge over at Left Of Center. The current theme is Inspired by a Movie. My inspiration for this card is Hocus Pocus!!
