Even though we are in the final days before Christmas, I have started thinking ahead about the holidays and activities coming up after Christmas. That is because as demonstrator I am fortunate enough to order items from our NEW upcoming catalog that comes out on January 5, 2016. There are so many pretty and awesome items in this new catalog I almost did not know where to begin. I decided that since Valentines day is the next bigger Holiday I would start there.
Isn’t that die cut heart gorgeous? Practically all of the items used on this card are part of the new catalog so I would be able to give a full supply list until that comes out in January. However, I decided to make a video to show off the die, the stamps and the awesome new tool we have to use that helps with getting all those little pieces out of the intricate dies!
Watch the video to see how I made this card!
I hope you enjoyed the video! These products will be available as of January 5, 2016. If you need a catalog, let me know and I will send you one.
I have been rushing to finish up my Christmas cards and could not post for some time so I could catch up on the cards. I also found that I was a bit short on the ones I needed. I wanted to come up with something quick so I could get my last cards sent out and I came up with this!
Even though this was a quicker card to make, it still looks pretty! I started with a base layer of Old Olive cardstock and then added a layer of Whisper White. I used Gorgeous Grunge to stamp in a splatter look with Versamark and then heat embossed that with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. To make the layers I started with a circle in Whisper White cut out with the my Circle Framelits. I then used my Brushstrokes Stamp set and added Real Red and Old Olive and then lightly spritzed it with water. I actually used this technique once before on a previous card. After that I selected some favorite patterns from my Merry Moments DSP paper and the Silver Glimmer paper and cut out trees with my tree punch. I then stamped the greeting from the Happy Scenes stamp set in Real Red and used my Hexagon punch to make it into a banner. I finished it off with random placement of the pretty Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Do you have last-minute cards you are working on? I would love to see what you came up with too. Share your link with examples in comments so I can see them in case I need just a few more!

I am super excited to post today because I was selected to be a guest designer over at What Will You Stamp Today!! Have you visited their challenge blog? If not, you need to! They have lots of great ideas to share. The theme today is Embellished Ornaments. Check out this shiny and festive card I made!
I love all the shiny colors! Do you want some more ideas on how to use this awesome set? Then head over to What Will You Stamp Today to see all their great ideas. Just click on the badge below to see them all and participate in the challenge!
To make this card I started with a Basic Black Card base. I then layered that with Whisper White and a shiny Red layer of Foil paper. I then cut a tiny strip of the Black Glimmer Paper and also a larger strip of Silver Foil Paper and embossed that with the Elegant Dots textured Impressions Folder. I then stamped the ornament in Silver and heat set it. Don’t forget to use your embossing buddy! I did and I think it really made the ornament come out flawless which is awesome considering all the detail there is in this stamp. I adhered the ornament with dimensionals and added a top from the Ornament Thinlits in silver foil. I then looped Silver cording trim around the the top and finished it off with the Striped Ribbon in Real Red. The sentiment is from the Happy Scenes Stamp set.
I hope you like it! I was lucky enough to be selected as a guest designer for this cute little card I made in one of their previous challenges:

I have a card to share today I made sometime ago. I was thinking about a trend I saw sometime back where Christmas trees were decorated in Silver and Purple. I thought I might try this color combination with a card this creation was born!
There are lots of fun elements in this card. First I started with a base card layer in Wisteria Wonder. Then I added a layer of Silver foil paper with the corners rounded. On top of that I added Whisper White with the rounded the corners with the new Trio Corner punch. I stamped the snowflakes in Wisteria Wonder using only the smallest snowflakes from the set. I then added a strip of Silver foil and Wisteria Wonder withe a greeting from the Christmas Greetings Thinlit set. I topped it all off with bigger snoflake from the wooden Snowflake Element embellishment pack. I also added a Metal Rimmed Pearl to bring it all together.
This came together quickly so it would be very easy to make them in large quantities, but you might need to use different sizes of the wooden snowflakes to use up your supply. Additionally, it is on the thicker side having both the wooden element and the metal rimmed pearl, so keep that in mind if you make a similar one and plan to send it in the mail.
I hope you enjoyed this card and are finding time to get your Christmas cards all finished up!
I have a pretty shaker card to share with you today. This one has lots of glitz and glam, which I think makes it perfect for Christmas!
For this card I used TWO beautiful foil papers, the Red and the Gold. I kept the front of the card plain white so the focus could be on the shaker and the delicate thinlit. The Jolly is from the Christmas Greetings Thinlit set and was a little challenging to get adhered to the acetate and the die cut ornament. Thanfully using the new fine tip glue pen really helped. The inside of the shaker was filled with the Metallic Sequins available in the annual catalog. The background of the shaker is the Gold Foil paper embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing folder. I topped both ornaments off with the pretty Gold Cord Trim to finish up the card.
I am entering this card over at CanYouCaseIt as their current theme (CYCI#97) is this inspiration photo:
