A beautiful Congratulations Card with Stampin’ Up! So In Love stamp set!

Hello Crafty Friends!

I have a pretty card to share with you and some news!  First, let’s look at the card!

This card was made using the pretty flower and sentiment from the So in Love stamp set in the occasions catalog.  The news that accompanies this post is that nearly everything used to make this card is retiring! Yes, the retired list is out and I will share more about that at the end of the post.  So if you love this set, you better get it while you can!

To make this card I started with a Sweet Sugarplum  card base. Then I used Very Vanilla and my Falling Petals Textured Impressions Folder (retiring!) to make the pretty embossed background. The adorable DSP banners were made with the Falling in Love paper. I am sad to say that not only is this retired, it is already sold out! I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum and made that into a banner as well.  I put a heart over the top of the sentiment from the Sending Love embellishments (retiring!). I light added some soft sky ink to the heart to pull in the blue colors on the card. I also covered it with Clear Wink of Stella!  The centerpiece of the card was made by stamping the flower on vellum and then using my blender pins with Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo to color in the flower. This was done on the back side of the flower.  I cut out the flower with my Layering Circle Framelits.  I finished things off by add a pearl in the heart.

Now lets talk about the Retired items!

The easiest way to see what all is retiring is to click on the banner above, then click the shop now button and then click on the retiring products banner to see the items.  If you prefer a list of these items then click here.  The main thing you should do is check out what we are losing so you can grab your favorite things before they are gone!
