I have a pretty simple card to share with you today that shows off one of the pretty new In Colors: Rococo Rose!
Rococo Rose is a beautiful mauve color. I think it is such a soothing color which is why I decided to make it the star of my card! I started with a 3 3/4 X 5 inch piece Whisper White card stock. I used the new A Little Lace stamp set to and Rococo Rose ink and stamped some of the pretty flowers from the set around the edge of the paper. The sentiment is also from this stamp set and could definitely work for many occasions. I layered the stamped page onto a 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 piece of Sahara Sand card stock. I then used the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon to wrap around the left side of this paper. I added this to a 4 1/4 X 11 (scored at 5 1/2) piece of Rococo Rose card stock. To make the bow you see here I cut a piece of the ribbon and folded each end toward the center. I adhered the folded part of the ribbon with glue dots. I finished it off with one of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots in Rococo Rose. I did add a little Wink of Stella on the flowers but it didn’t photograph well enough for you to see it.
Are you loving the new In Colors Stampin’ Up! brought out this year? I sure do! I have been able to share 4 of the 5 colors with you in some of the creations I have made over the last few weeks. Hopefully they are catching your eye like they have for me!
I will be back to share more creations and Stampin’ Up! news soon!
Today I HAD to share a birthday card because today is my birthday!! I believe it is fair to say I am smack dab in the center of middle age as I turned 45 today. Whew. Where did all that time go??? Well I am feeling pretty fortunate to have great friends, great family members and all my needs met, so I will celebrate all of those things today! I might also just close the door to my craft room and make sure I fit it some more craft time….. ;-).
Now let’s move on to the fun sneak peek I have for you. This card showcases almost entirely new catalog goodies!
Such a fun stamp set! All the stamped images you see are part of this new stamp set called Confetti Celebration. Also, all the colors used are some of the new In Colors coming out soon. I used Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Sweet Sugarplum. Looking at these colors just makes me feel festive! The pretty ruched ribbon is shown in Sweet Sugarplum and is available in all five In colors. It won’t be long and you will be able to order the products in the new catalog. I can’t wait!
I am off to see what else I can create since I took the day off from work today. Happy Monday to you!
It is a rainy, gloomy day here in the Chicago suburbs. What better day to be crafting, right??!! I sat down to work on a scrapbook page, but then decided that maybe I would see if I could work on the Sunday Sketch challenge from Operation Write Home first. I have to say that I LOVE this Sketch!! Anything a little off the beaten path is the place for me!
Don’t you just love the diagonal placement of the paper! This card was really easy to make too. You could pull together so many different papers and even use up a few scraps. Supplies for this card include:
My Mind’s Eye Chalk Studio line Basics Paper Pad
Whisper white from Stampin’ up and Natural from Paper Studio
Gee Thanks Stamp from the Really Good Greetings set from Stampin’ up
Banner die from Stampin’ Up Hearts a Flutter die set
Enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye chalk studio line
I sure hope they have more sketch’s like this one in the future!
