Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek – Forever Lovely Stamp Set!

Are you ready for another Sneak Peek from the Occasions Catalog? Check out this beautiful new card I made with the Forever Lovely stamp set!

Not only is this card beautiful, but it was simple! This is really just stamps, ink and paper but it still really has something that catches your eye. All of the stamps I used are from one of the new stamps sets that will be available in the Occasions Catalog as of January 3, 2019. One really nice thing about this set is that it is part of the disINKtive stamp sets. Have you heard of this yet? Distinktive stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity. It is really cool as it looks like multiple layers of stamps were used, but really it is all one stamp! To stamp the Flowers I used Lovely Lipstick Ink and one stamp. Then to stamp the leaves it was another stamp using Shaded Spruce ink. You can see the variation in how the ink stamps on the paper. The disINKtive stamps really make beautiful stamping easy! All the stamps used on this card are from the same stamp set – Forever Lovely. I did also add in wink of stella around the flower outline. It does not show up well in the photo, but it is a very pretty addition!

There is another sneak peak on this card that is part of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. See that gorgeous shiny foil paper? That was FREE with my 50 dollar purchase! The color shown here is Lovely Lipstick but it comes in a pack with Grapefruit Grove as well. How can you beat beautiful and free?

I hope this gets you excited for all the wonderful new items that will soon be available. Remember, if you need a catalog let me know and I will get one sent to you!!

Happy Crafting!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Creative Friends and Merry Christmas to you!

Things are slowing down at my house from the festivities earlier this morning so I thought it would be good to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I also thought it might be nice to share a simple winter card. This could be used for Christmas or for just about any occasion during the wintertime.

This card has no sentiment so it could be used for some many occasions! I started with a Thick Whisper White card base cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. I then used regular whisper white cut at 4 x 5 1/8 as a base for my patterned paper. The wood grain paper is from the Festive Farmhouse DSP. This was cut to 4 x 3 7/8. The Balmy Blue paperwas cut at 3 5/8 X 4 1/8. The Whisper White rectangle I used for stamping the trees was cut to 3 1/2 x 4. I stamped the trees from the Winter Woods stamp set using Balmy Blue ink. Then I added in Wink of Stella on the trees to make them sparkle! I used smoky slate ink and a stamp from the winter woods set to stamp the ground area the deer are standing on. The deer were stamped using the Dashing Deer stamp set in Gray Granite ink. They were cut out using the Detailed Deer Thinlits. The stamps and dies I used on this card are carrying over into the new catalog period so you can still order these now!

I added some of the Silver and White 3/8 inch Metallic Edge Ribbon and tied a not. I used dimensionals to popped up the stamped portion of the card. I finished things off by adding 3 Silver Metallic Pearls.

I hope this holiday finds you happy and healthy. I am thankful for all your who choose to follow my blog and choose me as to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!

Merry Christmas!!

Masculine Card with the Winter Woods and Gallery Grunge Stamp Sets

Hello Creative Friends!

I have a nice masculine card to share with you today. This is actually the card I created on my Facebook live event yesterday.  I hope you will consider joining me on Monday nights at 8pm over on Facebook! I will be taking a break for the holidays for the next two Monday nights, but the lives will be back on track as of January 7th.  Check out the card I created:

This one is great for a man in your life, right?  But honestly, it could easily be for anyone who likes nature or the outdoors as well.  To make this card I started with a 4 1/4 X 11 piece of Crumb Cake card base.  I then cut Mossy Meadow card stock at 4 3/8 x 3 inches.  I used a my versamark ink pad to stamp with one of the stamps from the Gallery Grunge set. I then put white embossing powder on that and heat embossed it. I set it asside to make sure it dried well. Next, I stamped the wood log looking stamp from the Winter Woods stamp set onto Crumb Cake Paper two times. I used Early Espresso Ink for this. I fussy cut around it in a rectangle.  I then added a layer of Very Vanilla paper as a layer behind it. This was cut to about 2 7/8 x 3 1/2. Once I knew the embossing was dry I used my Corrugated Dymanic Impressions Folder to add some additional dimension to the Mossy Meadow paper.  I also stamped tone on tone color with another stamp from the Gallery Grunge stamp set onto my card base using Crumb Cake ink.  I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla paper.  The sentiment is from the Free Cake stamp set.  It was cut out using a die from the Merry Christmas Thinlits. I assembled the card layering the pieces in a diagonal design and popped up the papers with dimensionals.  The twine used is Mossy Meadow from the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine set and Crumb Cake from the Nature’s Twine set.

You can watch how I made this card by watching the live video below:

Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek – Amazing Life stamp set

Who is ready for a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions catalog?  I’ve got one for you!

Isn’t this card adorable?  You are not going to want to miss the 2019 Occasions catalog coming out January 3, 2019!  Don’t have one?  Message me and I will send you one!!

To make this card I used the Amazing Life stamp set from Occasions catalog and the Swirly Frames from the annual catalog.  Those frames truly give your images some pow! I chose to use the circle from the frames set to highlight the nice sentiment from the Amazing Life set.  I then used accent stamps from the Amazing Life set to add a design around the majority of the circle.  The circle was cut out using the Layered Circle Framelits and then popped up using dimensionals.  I also stamped the cake from the Amazing Life set and then fussy cut it out so I could add it with the sentiment.  I colored in parts of the cake with my Light Mint Macaron and Light Daffodil Delight Blends markers. I added in some Whisper White 5/8 Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Mint Macaron Nature’s Twine behind the sentiment. I finished things off with Metallic Pearls on every other stamp around the sentiment.  The colors used are Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Mint Macaron.  I sent this to a young adult and I think it works great for someone in that age range.

You do not want to miss getting a copy of this new catalog coming out in January!  It is FULL of amazing stamp sets you can use for every occasion!  Please reach out to me if you need a catalog and I will be sure to get one sent your way!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Tags!

Hello Creative Friends!

Who is busy working on their Christmas Tags for gifts?  Well I have some great ideas for you!

We actually made these tags in my last card class. The ladies who attended my class really enjoyed making them.  I will say this set took quite a bit of supplies, but how fun to make so many different looking tags, right? To make these I started with 2 x 4 1/4 papers in all the colors you see here (supply list will note colors below).  Then I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch on all of them.  This means they will be roughly 4 inches in length after they are punched.  After that it was really all trial and error.  I would say the best way to figure out how to make these is to find your favorite designer paper ( in this case it is All is Bright DSP) and determine which ones would go with which base card stock color.  I then decided whether I wanted foil or glitter as my accents and used various dies cuts and stamp sets I had to spruce them up!

I hope this gives you some ideas of how to make pretty tags for your gifts!  See my supply list below to find out about all the items I used.  Most of the items I used are on our closeout list so be sure to head and grab them before they are gone! You can shop by clicking here!

Happy Creating!
