It is time for me to share some more lovely Christmas goodies from the Holiday catalog! Have you seen the Alpine Adventure Bundle yet? The bundle I used is so cute! It could work for a lovely winter scene or a Christmas card.
Isn’t this adorable? This Bundle has some other super cute items you could use to make lots of winter scenes or Christmas themed cards. Check out the whole stamp set and Thinlit Dies below:
To make this card I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 inch piece of cherry Cobbler card stock. This was scored at 5 1/2 inches. The pretty DSP you see is part of the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper Pack. This was cut to 3 3/4 x 5 inches. There is a very skinny layer of Cherry Cobbler behind the DSP cut to 3 11/16 x 5 1/16 (Honestly, I just move my paper one tiny mark past the 3/4 inch and the 5 inch mark if that makes it easier!) 😉 The Crumb Cake Layer of paper was embossed with the awesome new Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. This cut is a little tricky. The Corrugated Folder has some deep folds so it shrinks up the paper. You have to prepare for that a little when you are making the cut you want. I actually over estimated and ended up cutting my paper back some. Currently the cut is 4 1/8 x 5 5/16 inches. I would say you could cut this layer at 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 and it should work out well. I really just wanted the Corrugated part to show a little. The snow you see was made by cutting two random hills with the pretty Shimmery White Cardstock.
To make the rest of the card it was all stamping and cutting using the stamp set and dies you see above. One additional stamp set and dies set was used though. It is the Winter Woods Bundle. I will have more cards to share with that bundle soon! The ink colors used are Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler. I finished things off by adding the Metallic Pearls in Gold.
So what do you think? This one takes a bit of time to create but it is very worth it to send to someone special. Especially if they love snow sports!
I have a beautiful holiday card to share with you today using the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set! It is full of sparkle and shimmer because that is the perfect thing to have for a Christmas card!
Isn’t the copper beautiful? The Copper Foil was embossed with the Tin Tile embossing folder. It such a versatile embossing folder I highly recommend you get it. The pretty Designer Series Paper is the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP and it has hints of Copper Foil throughout the pages. The pretty ribbon used is the Merry Merlot/Copper Reversible Ribbon. How awesome to have more than one option in the same ribbon, right? The stamp set is from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set. This is not a stamp set to miss as it gives you the ability to put together many holiday wording combinations!

I am taking another quick break from Halloween cards to jump into Christmas! If you have looked at the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog then surely you have seen how many unbelievably adorable Christmas stamp set there are, right? I think the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set is one of them! Even though I love Halloween I am also a big fan of Christmas. Check out this new card I made that mixes new stuff with an old favorite from last Christmas.
I used the Pretty Pines Thinlits to cut out lots of branches with the super pretty Glimmer Paper. I added in some green using the new Sprig punch. It is really nice to have a punch that can make sprigs for all the different projects we make! The sentiment is from the new Farmhouse Christmas stamp set. I will have more to show on that set sometime soon because it is the cutest thing ever! That tiny little wreath you see in the sentiment was added in and the bow was colored using the Cherry Cobbler Dark Blends marker. I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I then loosely wrapped Silver Metallic Thread around the leaves and added in some Clear Epoxy Droplets here and there. The paper I used is part of the All is Bright Designer Series Paper pack and has lots of versatility. One side is photo-real scenes and the other is basic simple designs. Stampin’ Up! always seems to make sure we have options!! The card stock and ink color used is Shaded Spruce. I believe it is one of my most favorite greens because it is so very rich.
Have you started thinking about your Christmas cards yet? I will be sure to give you more ideas so hopefully you can find some inspiration here! ♥
Even though Christmas has come and gone I still have some creations to share with you. I hope you don’t mind one or two more Christmas cards because they are too cute not to share. Today’s card has quite a significance for me. Let’s see if you can figure out why!
Do you see why I had to get this stamp set? My last name is Bell!! I sent this card out to many of my family members so they could truly say they heard the Bells on Christmas day. 😉
This stamp is from the Darling Christmas Stamp set and you only have a handful of days to get it before it is possibly unavailable. There is a chance it could be put on clearance, but I do not know if this will happen or not.
I stamped the bell stamp in Garden Green ink. Then I used blends markers to color in the berries in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker to color in the leaves. I also gave it some sparkle here and there with clear wink of Stella. I fussy cut the Bell and then added it to the Be Merry Designer Series Paper with the ornaments and stars on it. This was layered on Whisper White and Garden Green. Lastly, I added the pretty Garden Green 3/8 inch Stitched Satin Ribbon to finish things off.
I hope you are still enjoying some Merriment before this holiday season completes. I am happy to have some time for crafting this weekend and can’t wait to see what I can come up with!
As this Christmas day comes to an end I wanted to be sure I wished all of you who follow me a Merry Christmas. Making cards is one of the ways I try to share my gifts with others. Christmas is one of the best times to share our creative gifts as we send cards to those we love. My cards were late this year for many reasons, but I decided it would be okay. The sentiment and meaning is still there even if it is just a few days behind. I wanted to share at least one more card with you before this lovely holiday ends. If you are a pet fan then this card is for you!
I did not send to many of these cards due to the amount of coloring required, but for those individuals who are super pet lovers like me ( I have four cats!) this was the card for them! This stamp is part of the Santa Paws stamp set and I think it is just utterly adorable. The inside of the card says ” Have a Meowy Christmas and a Yappy New Year” Too cute, right? I used the Stampin’ Up Blends to color in all of the animals and Christmas items on the stamp. Did you know these are available now? They sure are! They allow you to color with such ease. I layered my colored image onto paper from the Be Merry DSP. I then layered this with Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. I finished things off by adding leaves, berries and bows from the Pretty Pines Thinlits and coloring pearls with my Cherry Cobbler Blends for a little extra interest on the berries.
I hope you have had a fabulous Christmas and your New Year is filled with blessings!
