A Valentine using the Meant to Be stamp set and Be Mine Stitched Framelits

Hello Creative Friends!

I am back to share a lovely and simple Valentine you could give to just about anyone. In fact, it wouldn’t even have to be a Valentine. It could also be used to lift someone’s spirits or make them feel extra special.

The star of this card is the beautiful Be Mine Stitched Framelits. There are many different heart shapes and sizes in the set. I used a plain heart to cut out the pretty All My Love Designer Series paper and then I used a stitched heart to cut from the Sale-A-Bration freebie paper. This is the Foil paper in Lovely Lipstick. Isn’t it goregous? The tiny little hearts I scattered around were also cut using another die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits set. The Just for You sentiment is part of the Meant to Be Stamp set. I used a smaller heart to cut out the sentiment and as you can see it just barely fits! I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits to cut out a large background page in Soft Seafoam card stock. I added some 1/8 inch Grosgrain Ribbon in Lovely Lipstick. I layered all of this on Crumb Cake cardstock.

Now is truly one of the best times to shop for the great items used to make this card. Not only do you have wonderful supplies for many occasions, but you get FREE products for every $50.00 you spend! Remember, Sale-A-Bration only lasts through March 31st and sometimes they run out of the items they are offering in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Once those are gone, they are truly gone!

Stampin’ Up! Valentine’s Day Card Sealed With Love!

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have an adorable Valentine to share with you today.  Though I didn’t post about it previously, the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog is here!  This catalog has numerous adorable stamps, supplies and special things.  If you need a catalog let me know and I will get one sent to you! Now onto the adorable card!

Isn’t it cute!  The stamp set and matching Love Notes Framelits are sooo adorable!  In fact, you have to see that the little note inside the envelope has an extra message:

I love that you can give the recipient an extra something to open and read with this card.  To make this card I started with Real Red cardstock and layered it with Smoky Slate and Whisper White.  I kept the background simple white because I wanted my cute note to be the star.  I used the Love Notes Framelits to cut out the envelope with the pretty new Sending Love Designer Series Paper.  I then stamped the note and the hearts with stamps from the Sealed with Love stamp set.  I also cut those out with the Love Notes Framelits.  I originally poked holes in my hearts and threaded the twine through them. But when I realized they may turn around while dangling I added a heart to the back as well.  If you do this you can just put the twine between them. The twine I used is leftover from the Holiday catalog, but you could easily use white, linen thread or even the Cherry Cobbler twine since that color is so close.  I used the Love Notes Framelits to cut out the arrow that goes across the note.  I finished things off with some of the Sending Love Embellishments that you see in the first photo.

I hope this gives you some fun ideas for your valentine!
